When a Billing Group has been set up to use Non Periodic Consumption, Sigma will do various calculations in order to estimate the bill.

See below for various examples:

Actual reads exists both before and after the billing period

In this example,there are Actual meter readings in the Non Periodic Channel before and after the Billing Period.

Meter Readings are in the Non Periodic Channel for  26th April 2019 (15203) and 6th June 2019 (18436), but no readings for the start and end date of the Billing Period (1st - 31st May 2019)

Once the Bill Run has run, the Non Periodic Channel will be updated with the estimated readings (01/05/2019 15447.9 and 01/06/2019 16996.5) and the bill produced 

The bills shows the usage of 1518.6 kWh and in the Non Periodic Meter Reads section, the readings are as follows:

01/05/19 Estimated Reading of 15447.9

01/06/19 Estimated Reading of 16966.5

Actual read exists for the start read, but no reading(s) on or after the end date

In this example, there are Actual meter readings in the Non Periodic Channel on the start date, but no readings on or after the end date. 

Meter Readings are in the Non Periodic Channel for the start date of 1st May 2019 (15600), but no readings on or after the end date of 1st June 2019.

The Non Periodic Channel will be updated with the estimated reading ( 01/06/2019 18061.4) and the bill produced 

The bills shows the usage of 2461.4 kWh and in the Non Periodic Meter Reads section, the readings are as follows:

01/05/19 Actual Reading of 15600

01/06/19 Estimated Reading of 18061

Actual read exists for the end date, but no reading on the start date

In this example,there is an Actual meter reading in the Non Periodic Channel on the end date, but no reading on the start date.

Meter Readings are in the Non Periodic Channel for the end date of the Billing Period - 31st May June 2019 (16852), but no reading for the start date - 1st May 2019.  However, there is a reading before the start date on 26th April 2019 (15203).

The Non Periodic Channel will be updated with the estimated reading ( 01/05/2019 15432) and the bill produced 

The bills shows the usage of 1420 kWh and in the Non Periodic Meter Reads section, the readings are as follows:

01/05/19 Actual Reading of 15432

01/06/19 Estimated Reading of 16852
