Invoice vs Calculated (All Commodities and Electricity/Gas specific)

There are three Validators to check the invoiced cost against the calculated cost:

Invoice vs Calculated
- Compares the total value of the bill (as calculated by Sigma) against the total value declared on the bill (entered in the Bill this period field).
Electricity Invoiced Vs Calculated
- Compares the total value of the Electricity bill (as calculated by Sigma) against the total value declared on the bill (entered in the Bill this period field).
Gas Invoiced Vs Calculated
- Compares the total value of the Gas bill (as calculated by Sigma) against the total value declared on the bill (entered in the Bill this period field).

Each Validator can be set to allow for a percentage difference

Validator Set Up

Variable	Description
Bill will pass validation if the Query Value is less than (£)	Enter a monitory figure, for example 0.5 The Validator will only fail if the value of the difference is above 50p, or 5 for £5.00
Tolerance value (%)	The percentage you want the invoiced and calculated costs to be within. For example, enter 1 for 1%

Electricity Invoice Vs Calculated Failure

Invoice cost differs from calculated: FAILED - The name of the Validator

'totalBilledCharge=136.00' - The total charges entered in the Bill this Period field £136.00

'tolerance=1.00' - The percentage tolerance, ie 1%

'upperthreshold=137.36' - The upper threshold (the value in the Billed this period field, plus 1% - ie £136.00 + £1.36 (1%) = £137.36

'MinimumQueryValue=5.00' - The minimum amount the query needs to be (in £s) for the Validator to fail, ie £5

'lowerthreshold=134.64' - The lower threshold (the value in the Invoice cost field, minus 1% - ie £136.00 - £1.36 = 134.64

'totalCharge=126.00' - The amount in the Invoice cost field (the amount Sigma calculates the bill to be), £126.00

'QueryValue=10.00' - The difference between the Bill this period field and Invoice cost field, ie £136.00 - £126.00 = £10.00
