Description

Instant Insights

The Instant Insights feature allows users to rapidly uncover insights in their data with minimal effort. Users can choose to get a deeper explanation of the data they are seeing, or compare two data points on a chart to understand differences. Sigma EI will automatically perform data analysis, run a series of algorithms and rank the insights that it presents. Sigma EI’s narrative engine automatically interprets your findings for you and provides natural language explanations in summary or detail form. Once generated, the analysis can be edited, saved and shared with others or on dashboards.

Instant Insights leads to two options: Explain and Compare.

Explain

Using this option, Sigma EI will explain the underlying data drivers that impact the particular metric you have chosen. Sigma will access additional data elements from the underlying data view, and then run a series of algorithms to determine statistically relevant insights and present these back to the user.

Compare

Using this option, Sigma EI will analyse the data that best explains the difference in values for a particular metric between two dimension or date values. Sigma EI will access additional data elements from the underlying data view, and then run a series of algorithms to determine statistically relevant drivers of difference and present these back to the user.
