Introduction

This section of the User Manual explains how to add a Dashboard using the Sigma Energy Intelligence module. Once added, you can easily access it every time you open Energy Intelligence. The page also gives you an explanation of the reports that are on this default Dashboard.

Opening Energy Intelligence

After logging in to Sigma, click on the Energy Intelligence activity

Adding the Dashboards to your View

 Click on the main menu icon

Click on Browse

Click on Dashboards

This will show all Dashboards in your database



Double click on Site Analysis Dashboard

Click Add

Also add the Site Analysis Dashboard

The Dashboards will now be saved for you in your view

Viewing the Dashboards

Each time you log in, you can go straight to the Dashboards without having to search for them.

If you have added more than one Dashboard, you can go between the two from the tabs at the top of the page

The Site Analysis Dashboard allows you to interactive with your data and provides an overview of all periodic data for the previous 4 weeks.

Periodic Consumption Overview (Previous 4 Weeks)

This interactive chart provides an overview of all periodic data for the previous 4 weeks. The granularity of the returned data is daily by default, but this can be changed (Minute, Hour, Week etc.). A summary of each commodity is provided which can be selected to restrict the data to that commodity. A slider beneath the graph allows you to zoom in on a specific portion of the 4-week period. A filter can be selected to restrict the data shown to a specific site.

The default view is to show daily data for all commodities for the previous four weeks

Click on one of the top four smaller graphs to switch between All Commodities, Electricity, Gas and Water

Click on Minute (half hourly), Hour, Day, Week or Month to change the granularity of the data

Use the slider to highlight a particular period and the pop up will add together the Consumption.

Showing a particular Site

To show a particular Site, use the Filter in the top right
Click on the magnifying glass

Choose the Site

Click Submit

Click Go

This will update all of the reports on the Site Analysis Dashboard, showing data for the selected site.

Monthly Energy Summary vs. Previous Year by Day

This report shows the total metered consumption for a site for the last calendar month (bar) and for the same period in the previous year (line). Selecting a particular day displays another report which shows the granular consumption for that day.

Click on a column (day) to go to the Daily Energy Summary report, which shows the periodic consumption data for the selected day

Monthly Energy Summary (Drill Through)

The graph shows the current day and night consumption (bars) with the consumption for the same day in the previous year (line). A table of data is also displayed highlighting the percentage change in consumption for the current year time periods, compared to the previous year.

Click X in the top right to return to the Dashboard

Site Daily Usage by Hour

This chart shows an aggregated view of the usage in each hour period for each day of the week for the last calendar month. This allows you to see where consumption in a particular hour may not be as expected when compared to other periods.
