This section shows how to amend the Date Range Filter from choosing a date range by date to choosing from a pre-defined dropdown list.  (useful when you want to Broadcast a Report month on month).

Remember that when you use the pre-defined list, there is an option of 'Custom' if you want a particular date range that isn't listed.

Changing the Date Filter 

• Open the Report in Energy Intelligence > Edit (if you have not already copied it, you will need to create a copy first)
• From the Filter section, highlight the Date Filter and click on the downward arrow 
  • Click Format

• From the Filter Formatting pop up, Highlight the Date Filter
  • Click on Entry Style
    • Change the Value Entry Method from Manual User Entry to Value List Selection

• If it is a large Report, it is advisable to have a Default Value (otherwise all dates (up to 5 years) will load when you first open the Report)
  • From the Default Value dropdown, choose, for example, Last Calendar Month

• Click the X to save and close the popup
• The Filter will now show like this:

• Click Publish to save the changes (update the Description if necessary)
