Once the Cost Definition
...
is set up, you can attach it to a Meter.
- Right click on the Cost Definition, then Edit.
- Select Meter Management
. - Select the meters you want to link to this Cost Definition (use Ctrl + click to select multiple meter).
- Drag the meters from the Unselected Meters to the All Selected Meters section
- Click OK
- Click
to filter the meters in your database
From the Meter Editor
- Right click on the Meter, then Edit
- Click on Cost Definitions
- Edit the Meter you want a Cost Definition applied to and click
All available cost definitions will show in a list.
- Double click Meter
- Click Edit to open the Meter Editor
- Expand the Cost Definitions section
- Click Manage
- Click on the Cost Definition you want to associate with the Meter with. (The green tick appears once selected).

- Meter (so that you see a green tick next to it)
- Click OK to save
The Cost Definition now shows in the Cost Definition section and will be used to define the cost per unit in the Budget.
