Average ppu Threshold

GB – AverageppuThreshold

Checks the bills average pence per unit value (a combination of the green charges) is equal to or less than the defined PPU limit entered in the validator.

The average pence per unit is a combination of the green charges

Green units
BSUOS units
Renewable fuel obligation unit charges
The banded charges A-H on the General tab including banded units from 'ExtraCalcs'
Unbanded units from ExtraCalcs (those towards the bottom of the screen - the bottom right cost total)
The units charges broken down into bands in the OtherItems tab

checks that the average pence per unit is less than the figure added here.

In this example, the average ppu would need to be below 10.5 for it to pass.
